My mom has been using Loreal Color Spa for some time now and her hair looks great. No damage or anything wrong with the color adhering. It's a semi-permanant though. I've also had some good results with various lines from Loreal. Colour Experte worked awesome! It gave my hair lots of shine and the color was very natural looking. It was a medium auburn with orange undertones as opposed to purple in many of the other brands of haircolor.

I think all the brands are pretty much the same. But check out your local beauty supply store..they're extremely helpful. Invest in a smock, I've gotten hair dye everywhere doing it myself.

Clairol and Loreal both have professional lines. They are reputable companies. Being a stylist I hate to recommend drugstore stuff, but they are your best bet.

this is just about a question of complete opinion... i have always used loreal, i think i used garnier fruictisse one time but the only thing i liked better than loreal was they had a bigger tube of conditioner to use after you dye your hair.

I like Clairol Natural something or other. Try the temporary stuff first, to make sure it works on your hair and you like the way it looks.
