Should I wall mount my Samsung LA26R71B?

Wanting to get Samsung LA26R71B and wall mounting it so that my TV/sofa area would look bigger. However, I recently noticed that the wall mount bracket can be seen clearly at the wall side. As the side is facing my main door, it doesn't seem to look nice with the bracket and protruding TV from the wall. Is this always so?

There are also mounting brackets you can purchase that extend from the floor that comes with glass shelving which looks very stylish as well. Or you can install a stylish looking panel that surround the brackets which will block the view from the side.
