After a few minutes of using the computer I feel dizzy and nauseous and sometimes light headed. Anyone else? If you do feel this way.........wonder what causes that?

My husband can't use a computer for more then a few minutes. We have had three in the last few years and all of them have made him sick. I can't sit in front of them just fine.

I cannot believe that someone else feels that. The last few dozen times that I stayed on the puter for more than an hour or two I complained that i felt *computer sick*, to my friend. I felt dizzy, nauseated, and just so lethargic that i walked to the couch and threw myself on it and covered my eyes for like an hour. I would love to know if it could be so....good question.

On yahoo, Cowards hide behind blocking and reporting questions/answers. In real life they hide behind lies and turn a blind eye to the facts that they perceive as a threat to what ever fake or imagined power they have given themselves

You are probably very susceptible to the electromagnetic rays emitted from the screen. Very possibly allergic to your computer, in simple terms. There are screens you can cover you monitor with. Please don't put in your bedroom. Sleeping with computer in room just magnifies the problem. This is a very serious problem and very rare at that.

First check your computer's brightness settings.

If after altering your settings, you still get dizzy and stuff like that, it's time to consult your local optometrist or opthalmologist.

Hope this helps.

Peace.

Maybe you need to alter the colour or brightness resolutions. Too bright can make me feel ill sometimes.

Brightness might be an issue, but I suppose a bad refresh rate of your computer monitor could do it too. :(
