Dose anyone think the world is ending.?

what do you think, i think yes it is and the bible tells the signs of the end and we are living at that time.

No, i mean do you guys think this world is going to end in our life time.

The world started ending when it began. Other religions long before Christianity crept in 'prophesied' about the end of the world.

And please, the bible predictions can be applied to any time. Numerous generations have thought that they were in the 'end times' including the disciples. It may have held water but you see, the bible authors screwed up by applying to Jesus/God the words "soon and quickly" numerous times. Sorry, soon and quickly cannot stand for THOUSANDS of years no matter how you slice it and ONLY one scripture can be yanked to try and put the kabash on that...we all know it...to the Lord a day is like a thousand years...blah, blah, blah.

BTW...they Mayan calender ends in the year 2012 which is when they claim the world will end. Now that is pretty damn specific,whether it will happen or not is yet to be learned.

I don't know. But I do feel like that a lot these days... we're certainly due for a transition, or even a Transcendence. In any case, even when humanity's time on Earth has ended, I think the Earth will live on after we're gone.

In *every* generation since Christ, someone was saying that the end of days was at hand. Even Christ himself preached that, and did it with enough urgency that some his followers thought they would seen the end in their lifetime.

If this generation sees the end of the world, it won't be because of "God". It will be because the world's only superpower elects a president who thinks he is guided by "God", and that president antogonizes other monotheist cultures into thinking that he is leading a crusade (i.e. a Christian Holy War).

I have observed many things taking place which indicate that we are moving closer to the Biblical End Times. I have also watched many science programs that indicate the earth is in danger of total destruction. I think they are both correct. I believe that there are things occurring in nature such as earthquakes that will fulfill the prophecies of the Bible.

Yes, I believe we are living in the last days. Funny thing is..... Every one is just looking for signs of the end times and it's right under their noses.

i think we are in the end times, which is vague. i think it will get a lot worse still. i think it was the mayans that predicted december 17, 2012 would be the end of the world.

i think its on a down slide for sure and nothing we are doing is gonna turn that around, ie. global warming ,disease, poverty etc. its on the road to demise but who could say how long it will take. nostradamus predicted financial despair for 2009 and mass destruction of humanity in some way for 2012.Then there is the maya , who also predicted many major happenings on calenders etched in their temple/pyramids. all of their calenders finish abrubtly for no apparent reason in 2012....
