I am waiting patietly for ms. Right...but it seems as though all the good girls are taken ...and the freakin interent has ruined a decent guys chance at meeting someone nice!! so the question is this, I am possibly thinking about forgetting the whole marriage thing and committing myself to being single...as crazy as that sounds, the hurt of being alone is would be alot worse if you accepted that as a reality. So, to answer my question above... does it seem inconplete or could you handle being alone for good?

I know exactly what you are talking about.

Personally, I have resolved to myself that if I still ever meet someone, well and good. But if I don't, that's just simply how it's gonna be. Would I feel incomplete? I'm sure I would from time to time. But then I will not let that get in the way of me enjoying and living my life to the fullest.

And I've heard someone said before, "It is better to be single than to be with the wrong person."

I've been on my own for nearly 5 years. It definately has it's advantages. I don't have to answer to anyone amongst other things. Most of the time I'm happy being single, but occassionally I get a bit lonely. It would be nice to one day meet someone, but my last relationship was pretty crappy so I wouldn't settle for anything less then complete happiness next time around. If that means being on my own forever then I guess what will be will be

I hate being alone...A girl is only as good as her partner.....If you want a girl to be good, you have to make her be good, What happened to all of the real men? And you have to be worthy of her to be good for, which means that any situation that comes along, as a man, you should be able to handle it and correct it!!! Just a clue, back in the day, men used to feed and provide for the women they were with. Are you a provider? Can you give a female shelter and protect her from anything bad that may ever happen? Are you a good man? That's the question.

now i don't think i could handle being alone for good, i like knowing that i have someone there to count on and to love me. It feels wonderful to know that you have that "special" someone in your life. But if you don't have them then you are never really going to be complete, because the other person makes you a whole! But w/e you choose.. Good Luck!

Absolutely-definitely-incomplete life. Unless you're immortal, then that's a different story. It's a part of your life. But hey, if you feel complete without one, that's fine with me... No way I'm staying single...
One day. there will be a girl fit for me and me to her...
Good luck in your life dude...

not the right partner = incomplete life also

It takes time to find the right person and you will. You HAVE to be patient. I once thought like you--I would remain single for the rest of my life because I was meant to be alone. Not true...There is someone for everyone in this world...Don't give up...
