I eat a pretty well balanced diet, and do kickboxing twice a week.. but I still am about 10 kilo's overwieght, I have just started walking to and from work 4-5 days a week.. each way is 4 kilometers. i hope this will be enough to gradually drop the 10 kilo's off me.. as I am at that age where I gain about 3 kilo's a year.. and I want to stop this from happening.. Should I see a change doing this or is it not enough?? I have been doing the walk for 2 weeks now and feel better but havn't noticed a change as yet.. How long till I'd hope to notice some change??

If you are not happy with your progress, amp up your work outs. You could try the following:

Jog home instead of walking.
Go to kickboxing more often or go to two classes in a row.
Carry extra weight when you walk, It will burn more calories.

It normally takes time to loose weight so be patient.
Remember that you should worry more about how your clothes fit than what you weigh.

Be Blessed

You can't expect weight loss to happen right away. When you start a new exercise routine, it is not uncommon to see the scales go in the wrong direction because your body's muscle mass will increase. In the long run, you should start to see weight loss.
