You can also give your companion 3cc of Pepto which about a teaspoon. Don't worry, it wont hurt him. My vet has given me A LOT of info as far as treating your pet with people medication from over the counter. For fever, 1children's aspirin. For a cough, 1 tsp. of children's cough medicine (cherry flavor). Granted, it does depend on the pet's size. The above is what I do for my Pit Bull.

I am no vet. However, I have volunteered for several vet offices. You can give the dog pumpkin. It cures an upset stomach, as well as it also cures loose stool.

Doga will cure their own upset stomach by eating grass. Always make sure there is grass available or take him for a walk to a grassy area

For stomach he will eat grass..
If the diarrhea--pepto bismol should help. unless it is parvo.

There really isn't medicine you can give him that isn't prescribed by a vet. So in the interim until you can take him to the vet and have him checked, fast him. Limit his water and don't give him any food and if he starts vomiting take him to the vet immediately.

let them eat some grass, and it will make them vomit, they should be better in no time..If the dog really has an upset stomach, they will instinctively eat grass on their own.

Grass....my dog has some on his own acord I guess whenever he's feeling a bit wheazy. The good grass btw :P

I have given my dogs pepto.. I called the vet and they said give them a small dose.. according to the dogs size. worked for my dog!

Grass is a myth....try a little Pepto Bismol, it works great.
