I have read many answers to the question of whether the Bible is true, or not. This has a lot to do with the question of, "What are you non-believers going to do, when us Christians turn out to be right?" Well, God gave us "all" the right of "free will." And, we all have the right to seek and find the answers to these questions for ourselves. I know personally the answers to both questions for myself. The answer is Yes, the bibIe is "true." And, no all christians don't have it right! I can say that with firm conviction because the bible says so! Also, the reason I'm so sure is because I have a very close and personal relationship with both God, his Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I know the disbelievers and the belivers always ask how can this be and how can I use the word "know." Well, yes I've gone to churches and heard pastors and preachers tell me about the bible. That inspired a lot of questions in me, as apparently it has in many others. I've attended many different religious faiths. They all seemed to have their own speel on how to interpret the bible. I always left these churches a little inspired and a little more curious about what the bible really meant. But, I was taught from a young child to examine things for myself and place my faith in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit to lead me to the correct conclusion. Well, that is just what I have been doing for many, many years. When I was very young my faith was as a mustard seed (very small). But, I prayed before I read the bible and asked to be filled with the peace and understanding of the Holy Spirit so that I may understand the words before me. I began with Genesis, my favorite book in the bible. I found that no matter how it was interpreted, it still said the same thing. But, I have yet to hear anyone quote it correctly. This I have found true of most other books of the bible. My favorites are Genesis and the New Testiment. After reading these books many times and gaining greater and greater understanding of God's and His Son's words my life has truly become more and more enriched. I find peace, joy, happiness, and love in the smallest of things now. I seldom feel lost, or alone. And, when I do, all I have to do is think one little word, "faith." Whenever I'm on the verge of a crisis, I just think "faith" and my problem is almost miraculously solved without my not knowing where the help is going to come from, that is other than from my Heavenly Father. I am filled with peace. I have also learned that no matter what version of the bible you study from, it's only meant to be "the road map to life." It was never meant to tell mankind every move to make, every decision to make, every step to take....... But, if you will read it and study it for yourself, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God, Jesus Christ, or All Three you will find the truth within yourself. You won't need study books written by men that may not understand the many translations of the bible themselves. I know I have gone on for a long time, but I would like to share just one short experience with you and you can decide for yourselves whether these are just the ranting of a crazy lady, or the words of one who has experienced a true relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ his Son, and the Holy Spirit: I had been off work for more than a month because of having two (2) major surgeries within one month of each other. I had a lot of 100% sick time on the books at work, but that had run out and I was then trying to live on 65% of my salary (that wasn't very much). I was a single mother and was buying a home and of course there were many more bills to pay. Well, I didn't have the money to pay the gardener to keep the lawn up anymore and the grass had grown pretty high in the front yard and more than a foot high in the back yard. I had just opened the mail and there was a notice from the city stating that if I didn't cut my grass and make my yard presentable they would do the yard themselves and bill me for the work. I started crying because I knew I didn't have the money and it would be another few weeks before I could return to work. The city had given me ten (10) days to get my yard cleaned up. Well, after a good cry, I thought "faith." I put the problem in my Heavenly Father's hands and put the notice to the side. Well, I didn't worry about it anymore. A day before the deadline, my daughter asked me what we were going to do, I told her not to worry and to have "faith." Right at that moment I looked out the front window and saw a young man walking down the street pulling a lawn mower and carrying a rake. When he came to my house, I called out to him and he came up to my door. I asked him how much he would charge me to cut my grass. I told him the shape it was in and everything (not about the city though). He had no shirt on, no shoes, and his long hair was tied back into a very long neat ponytail; but, he was clean and his face had no traces of hair on it other than his eyebrows. He was slim, but well built and had the most gentle look in his eyes. He looked at me and answered softly, "I'll do it for $10.00. But, I'll need trash bags to put the grass and weeds in and I'll line them up at the curb for you. I looked at my daughter and asked her if she had $5.00 and she said yes and I had $5.00, so I told him it was a deal. He walked away from the door saying it would take him about an hour. Well, if you had any idea how large my front yard was you'd say it'd take him that long just to do that and the backyard was more than twice that large. I just thought it would be a miracle if he could do it! I told my daughter to look around and see if we could find a couple more dollars we could give him when he finished. I just knew in my heart that he was going to do a great job. You know that old thing called "faith." Well, in about an hour, my daughter came to my bedroom where I was laying down and told me that he had finished and she had paid him. I asked her if she had given him the extra money and she said, "no." I scrambled up and told her to get in the car and go find him, because when we got to the front door he was nowhere in sight. She was out driving all over the neighborhood for about 20 minutes, only to come home and tell me that she could not find this young man who was pulling a lawn mower and carrying a rake. We both said a prayer of thanks to God! I could tell you many, many incidents like this that have happened to me over the 60 years of my life where God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit have taken care of me in all types of circumstances, even some I have brought upon myself, but you must be tired of reading by now. I do not intend to preach to anyone, not now, not ever. Remember, God gave us all "free will" to make our own decisions about how we would live our lives. And, no matter what, or how you decide to believe - in Him, or not - it's your right.
God bless you all in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ and be filled with the peace of the Holy Spirit - if you should choose to accept this prayer, please do so. If you should choose not to accept this prayer - it is your God given right.

Just the same question should be given to those Christian if it turns out that the non-believers turn out to be true. I am a Christian but I will prefer to cross the bridge when it is there.
I ask you Christian therefore, if your belief came to be true, what Christian way would you do to the non-believers? Would you mock them? kill them or would you forgive them and say forget it and join us? Or just plain let them be till it is time for them to realize things themselves?

You do know that numerous CHRISTIAN sects do not believe in a place of eternal torment, right? Or are you completely oblivious to that fact?

BTW...if by some small chance your version of an evil monster deity were correct (lets face it, any being that would torture for eternity people for finite sins big or small is the EPITOMY of pure evil), I'll happliy choose hell rather than spend it with such a dispicable beast.

Even if you are right, I want nothing to do with your death obssesed god and your fearful morbid religion. If you are right at judgment day I will spit at his feet, not bow. The horrible atrocities that he created and allowed are enough to turn my stomach. The rape, murder, genocide and predjudice in the bible alone are enough to convict him on in a court of law. The bloody trail of xitanity runs deep. Be washed in the blood, saved by the blood, drink the blood at communion/lord's supper are disgusting pagan sacraments that were adopted by your cult. Not only that but your god's ppl have been commanded to be sheep and yet to kill those not like you. Your god and your religion violate my principles of goodness, compassion, empathy, morality and personal principles. I will never convert and I will dance merrily to hell if you are right.

Though we all know deep down that you aren't......

This is the wrong attitude to have, you will never get through to anybody speaking to them this way. You present them with the clear and truthful plan of salvation and you pray for them, you dont point fingers. Its ok to point out wrong but you are specifically talking to the lost who as a christian you are to help to find christ. You need to change your approach if you are ever going to be effective for god.

What will you do when the non believers turn out to be right? I always thought that God was a forgiving god and gave his son for our sins. So then why wouldn't that cover us if you were right

Until the Lord removes all tears, pain and suffering I think there will be much sorrow; from believers because people they knew and loved missed it and from non-believers because they know it and can not change it.

Problem 1:
What do you mean "us" Christians? The Catholics, the Moroms, the Jehovah's Witnesses, or the Baptists? And of those, which ones? Hell or no hell, 144,000 of a whole lot more? Let's get some precision...

Problem 2: When you and I are both rotting in the ground and feding the worms, we won't be speculating either way.
