By your logic I could say George Washington never existed or Cleopatra. Their bodies could be the bodies of someone else and the evidence we base their existence could be fabricated.

Oh Jesus existed. But the question is "Is he the son of god?". Remember at the same time there were hundreds of prophets running around calling themselves the messiah at that time. What if you picked the wrong one to follow? What if the true son of God is named Brian? Now wouldn't that be funny?

What cause? The evidence suggests Jesus is pure myth. That's just a rational conclusion that has nothing to do with causes.

What do we know about Jesus that isn't tightly coupled with myths and legends? Nothing. Not only that, but the gospel stories appear to be a sequence of pre-existing legends aimed at creating a big tent religion with broad appeal.

Further, details of the life of Jesus are revealed as time progresses. This is classic myth making.

To say that Jesus never existed or does not exists, is to say that God is capable of telling a lie. For if there is even one lie in the Bible than that would make the whole Bible a lie. Which we all know that is not the case. God is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent. Jesus totally exists and is living. If Jesus does not exists then there was no ressurection and we will remain dead in our sins. Jesus is Lord...Not mahammed, allah, buddah or any other false god. Jesus died for our sins. I would rather serve a creator who dies for his creation, and not have his creation die for him.

YAWNNNNn - actually, we can dig up Washington. And I am not disputing someone named "Jesus" lived during those times. I am merely saying he wasn't the son of God....BIG DIFFERENCE.
