the cheese is all burnt but the crust isn't done yet. Does anyone have a good recipe where this doesn't happen. Also I make the crust by using a regular bread recipe.

Oven has to be very very hot on the bottom. Either precook the crust or have an oven at 600 degrees.

I alway start the crust....cook for about 5 mins at 550.....take out and add the toppings...return to 550 for 8-10 mins to finish.

I use a hot oven 400 degrees. Once the pizza is made, pop it in for 20 minutes and you are done. Don't forget to grease the pizza pan!! I learned that the hard way. Also, try placing cheese towards the bottom on the pizza then place your other items on top!

Your cooking at way to high a temperature. Bring the temp down to 350 or 400 and let it cook longer. A lower temp like 350 will allow the food to cook thoroughly cooking from the inside out. When you cook at high temps like 500 the food cooks from the outside in, resulting in...a burnt pizza.

Bake the crust first for a few minutes or just put it directly on the oven racks and not on a tray so it will cook from underneath.

Try using a pizza stone, a cheap pizza stone works just as well as the expensive ones...

You can find them all over...
