Hey - while I don't believe - I certainly think Women deserve as much right to preaching as men.

The Great Commission given to every Christian is go into all the World and preach the gospel. Every Christian includes women preachers too. Joyce Meyer is doing good work. So are plenty of people throughout the world. They are doing their work, let us do our work allotted to us. Let us not be judgmental or critical. God will give rewards on the Judgment Day to each one according to the deeds done on earth.

I sometimes watch her and I think she is right on with teaching according to the bible. I only don't like how she advertises her books and stuff. I don't have a problem with woman preachers, and the bible does not speak against it, which is the main thing.
Most people that refute women as preachers are still under the misunderstanding that we are still in bible times, which were mostly male-dominated. But even Jesus during His time treated women with respect and kindness outside of the norms of that time. Hope this answers your question.

I do. She's superb. I like her. I don't agree with her 100% because I am a practicing Catholic, but she certainly has the gift of preaching. And it looks like she follows what she says too: one time she said something like "I am Joyce Meyer here, but the minute I walk off the stage I am a housewife, wife of ..." I liked that.
There is nothing wrong with women preachers as long as they speak the TRUTH.

I don't personally watch her. But I think women preachers, when truly annointed by God to preach, are a wonderful thing. That's the exact same way I feel about male preachers.
I prefer to focus on whether or not they preach the word than their gender.

There were no women at the last supper when Jesus instituted priesthood. Women are not legitimate priests whose function is to offer sacrifice to God (see Heb. 5:1 -Every high priest is taken from among men and made their representative before God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins)
Paul says " I do not permit a woman to teach" (1 Tim. 2:12 ).
As often happens, in this case evangelicals will not read the words of the Bible and will come with a different explanation, to suit their practice and say everything is OK

I watch her online through her webcast and podcasts. I also love her books, she is very truthful, to the point, and does not sugar coat things. She has been given a gift given to her by God, and she utilizes it well. I think women preachers are necessary, because they are needed to bring out the boldness that lies dormant in all of us. Women are more relational creatures, and we can reach people in ways that sometime men can miss with society. So in this case of leadership, I believe firmly women definitely have a place in evangelical preaching and leadership.

Joyce Meyer belongs to the Word of Faith movement, a Protestant sect of recent popularity, whose theology is at odds with Catholic, Orthodox, and mainline Protestant theology.
"Just these four organizations probably hold over 85% of the market in Protestant religious television, all from Pentecostal background, and who are constantly seeking to dictate American foreign policy in favor of Israel to fulfill their hopes of accelerating Christ’s return to earth and their insidious desire for a future millennium in the land of Palestine." http://www.catholicintl.com/noncatholicissues/politics-protestant.htm
Mother Theresa, well accepted as a Christian woman preacher worthy of remembering by most denominations, never rebelled, did what God told her to do, yet she was never ordained.

To be honest...I have not seen her program, although the news I am recieving about her "ministry" and life is not very positive or encouraging...
I have no problem whatsoever with women preachers, so long as they (and for that matter all preachers) are intelligent, know what they are saying and true to their faith, and not like those crazy TV preachers such as Robertson and Falwell...

ive seen her, her tactics are the same as all power speakers, she sells the product well, she is dangerous as well, have you seen kids watching the wiggles and stuff like that, their eyes are glued to the screen, zombie like, joyce meyers does the same thing, brain washing is very real in society, but its not a conspiricy, the people doing the brain washing are also brainwashed, i used to be one, it took me about 6 years and numerous drug addictions to see clearly. its no ones fault but as soon as you know your own mind these people seem pretty crazy. peace

No. Women preaching is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Read your Bible before following a woman preacher.
