I do believe is it possible to be in love with more than one person at the same time but it isn't always the same sort of love. I have a love for an ex boyfriend which will never die but it is nothing like the love I have for my current man.

No. When you love somebody your heart is completely reserved for them. No other person can compete. It's a one person thing. You can fall in love with more then one person, but it's always in a different way, one is always more intense than the other. But truly love two people unconditionally at the same time...I don't think it's possible.

There is something to that if youre talking about a potential mate. But your heart is more or less fragmented but it might give you an idea of what youre really looking for if one stands out over the rest. However, it's unfair, incomplete and without true direction if you dont focus on one person.

I think the asker is referring to romantic love.

Jerry Springer, of all people, answered this question many years ago.

He said, if you are claiming to be in love with two people at the same time, then you aren't really loving either of them.

I believe in different loves. Partner love, Parent love, friend love, sibling love... but simultanious Partner love?? I don't think I could comprehend that......I believe in having a soulmate....so I guess my answer is no. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen to other people though, I suppose.

Sure but there is normally one person that you love more than the other or others and so it is unfair to those people who should have someone in their life who will love them above all others.

Each individual has enough love to go around, There is one type of love for your mate, there is the love one has for a friend, the love that one has for his children. The love we have for our lord and Savior, be careful of the forbidden love you might have for someone you have no right to possess
