I would verify you actually have oil psi problem/CHRYSLER (not GM) 2.5L oil senders do not always read correctly-you need to verify factory gauge reading with mechanical oil psi gauge

i own a repair shop,,and can tell you what is causing it,,you need to remove the oil pan on it,,and clean it and the oil pick up tube out,,they get clogged up,,and cant pick the oil up fast enough,, i have done a bunch of the jeeps,,there good vehicles,,but this is a common thing with one,,especially if it goes for a while before getting the oil changed in it,,in some cases its the cheaper oils that cause it to gum up ,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.

Is your question why your oil pressure is low?
I think there's an oil pump, yours might not be working right. A tech can tell, or take it to a parts store where they do free diagnostic checks.

Flush the oil and change it....you can buy the flush or just put a cup of Kerosene in the oil and let it run for ten munutes.
Possibly your gauge could be bad or off
If it neither of those then it could be the oil pump itself

have you tried a product called slick 50 it puts a seal on your pistonwalls I have used it in cars from a mini to a jag you increase your speed and use less petrol I have seen it work on a v.w with a piston blown and it still kept the engine running
