As a Muslim, and having read both, I believe the Qur'an is better. We believe that it is the actual Word of God. In this sense, the Qur'an is comparable to the Christian Jesus, who was God's Word made into flesh, and since the Gospel was taught through Jesus. The Qur'an does not compare to the Bible as well, since the Bible is not written by God, but by divinely inspired human beings (according to the Christian view).
Muslims believe that the Qur'an is complete and final, in other words that you no longer need the Bible since the Qur'an was revealed, and that there will be no more revelation after it.
It is important to decide for yourself, however, so if you have time you should read both books with an open mind. A good English translation and commentary of the Qur'an is by Muhammad Asad.

The Holy Bible was the best choice until God revealed the Holy Qur'an. The Holy Qur'an contains the most relevant, pertinent and up to date commandments as well as most accurate narrations of historical events. The Holy Qur'an also contains a wealth of scientific knowledge that is just being discover with some yet undiscovered. The Qur'an is also the most memorized book in the world to verify and protect it's authenticity. Finally, the Holy Qur'an verifies many facts that have been misrepresented by the Holy Bible by intentional misrepresentation by some corrupt "scholars" when the Bible (i.e. Torah) was kept out of public access.

The Bible, of course, that's what America was founded on the basis of and it's 9-11 for crying out loud! But you know what's REALLY sad? It's that some Americans do not live by ANY type of scripture & are trying to hurt fellow Americans AS WE SPEAK for no good reason at all! This forum would benifit from a higher percentage of religious or good-spirited members! I wish they could see, as they hurt innocent people, how sorry they will be when they die & have to own up to what they did here on Earth.

Most definently the Bible -- that's what I was raised by & that's what I would raise my kids by, not a book which may lead to them thinking they'll have 7 virgins or something if they crash a plane into some buildings like they did 5 years ago!

the Quran is God's own words speaking to us and telling us what to do.
on the other hand the bible is stories told by people who heard jesus say this and that.
1 book has never been changed for 1500 years
the other has 70+ versions and has been altered in so many ways.
peace

FROM THE MUSLIMS
Actually...you cant compare them because muslims believe in both the bible(which we call injeel) and quran but since the bible has been changed from its original state we now follow the quran....9/11 has nothing to do with islam--islam is a religion of peace...so dont go mixing up 9/11 and islam...k
reasons why:
*muhammed did not write the quran
*its the final of all 3(bible and torah)
*hasnt been changed since it was revealed....bible has been changed soooooo many times
*if jesus is son of god because he didnt have a dad shouldnt adam be son of god?
*if jesus is god and so god is god...isnt their 2 gods....so the religion is polytheism not monotheism.
*we believe in jesus as a prophet(messenger of god) not as god
Some people exxagerate because the quran says that you have to follow islam.....duuuh....of course it says that becaue its from that religion(its the book of islam)
