My hair is only slightly wavy so I can get away with straightening with a blow dryer alone, it just doesn't last or give the sleekest results, so I iron it occasionally. I like the idea that I could save time by doing it while my hair is still damp but I wonder if the wet / dry irons are really okay just because they have holes to let out steam. Has anyone used one of these? Is there really any other difference between a regular flat iron and a wet / dry one? I would like to know because I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that really is no different than the one I currently use only about once a week.

Nope..Not worth it. But anything with heat applied to your hair will cause damage. If you only use the straightening iron about once a week don't go and spend the money on something you don't use at least every other day.

they dont work and they cause frizz you cannot get good results if your hair is still wet or damp it must be dry.
