Ummmm, because it will not STOP the ILLEGAL immigration... Hellooo!!!! Why should we reward those who broke our country's laws? If I illegally immigrated to any other country and they caught me, they would not reward me with citizenship. I would be jailed at the worse or deported at the least. So why should we reward law breakers?

Even in the past not all immigrants were allowed into this country. Maybe you never heard of Ellis Island in New York City. Families were torn apart there. Only the healthy were allowed into this country. TB was almost gone until the immigration from Mexico and Asia. It is now increasing and there is a strain that is not responding to the normal treatment and is deadly.

There is no justification. In my opinion, if there were far less (better if there wouldn't be any) illegal immigrants, the country would be ver well off for the simple reason that our upkeep wouldn't be as high, population would go down and jobs will go up, not as much businesses will close but, more will open. I also don't believe that there is no job any american wouldn't want to do. This is just a stupid combination of words to make them feel good but to me, they still are eyesores and drains to the economy.

You're missing the point - we have rules and regulations for a reason! People who go through the immigration process come legally - that is just how it's done! Why don't you give it a try!

We have a quota system. Some from one country and some from other countries. If we accept only Mexican illegals no one else could come because our population would increase too fast. People from other countries including the Middle Easterners bring money with them and use it to invest in our economy. The Mexican illegals don't bring money.

why shoule we grant citizanship to anyone breaking the law, if they broke that one what others are they not afraid o break or have already broke?

since you want illegals here so bad, why dont you come here and live and leave europe or where ever you are, or better yet let them all with you.

Nobody wants illegals in their country. Why do you think the U.S. is any different? Australia charges a minimum of $100,000.00 to become a citizen of their country.

What would be next?

We don't want murderers or rapists in society either. Should we grant them all amnesty so that they are no longer murderers or rapists?

Illegal is illegal. Crime in sheer numbers doesn't make it any less of a crime.

You must be one of them, they ( and you) have a low mentality and can't comprehend the meaning of ILLEGAL and its implications nor the consequences for breaking the law.

A thief doesn't keep the money he stole from the bank he robbed.

The thief who stole the car doesn't get to keep it.

The home invader doesn't get to live in the house he invaded.

Illegal immigrants (they are criminal invaders) do not get to stay in the USA (no amnesty)

America has a right to screen the people we let in. You need to go back and apply for citizenship. If you are deemed unworthy of coming here, tough chit.
