Oh the door thing irritates me too it's just a fast paced environment we live in now with proper etiquette not being taught to our younger generations. Just have to live with all the rudeness but I do say "You're Welcome" after they slide through whether or not it is acknowledged.

Both instances are rude. No matter how much of a hurry you are, you do not, not say thank you to the person opening the door for you or holding it open for you. It's common courtesy.
As for the stop sign intersection and turn thing, I would blast my horn full right the next time some idiot did that. It's blatantly dangerous and not fair.

Door thing, agree with you
Intersection, i don't think cars should pass 1 by 1. Too inefficient. Should be like 5-10 cars from each direction at a time. That's the principle for traffic lights.

Manners always count! By the way the car that goes through the stop sign could get a ticket.

I am with you. I think this is totally inconsiderate.
I feel that It happened about 1 in 10 times over here in california about door incidents.
And stop signs about 1 in 7 times.
Where do you live ?

Yeah they both suck , you feel like slamming the door on them when they are half way through and the other is often the cause for road rage. I reckon the people that don't say thanks when you open a door for thewm are the same people that jump the quew at the roundabout [ four way stop ? ]

Yeah, it bothers me too, but then I think of all the crap that's happening to people in Iraq and Lebanon and Darfur and Haiti and places like that and I think, "You ain't got no manners, brother, sister, whatever the case may be, but I'll overlook it this time and then I get on with my life.

I don't let the door thing bug me but as for the car thing I just try to think the second car is an un-marked taxi - they are expected to take traffic-initiative.

Yes, it makes me sooooo mad! I used to try and be rude back, but now, I just try to let it go. I figure I'll be the mature one and overlook their stupidity. Plus, as a Christian, I feel I should do my best to be Christ-like. (Although, it's hard sometimes not to lay on the horn or yell at them!!!) Sometimes if I hold the door for someone and don't get a response I'll say loud enough for them to hear "Your welcome!!".

Aw, try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Like you never made a mistake? you've NEVER been rude to someone who really didn't deserve it?
Act like a duck & let it be water off your back. You get to prove yourself the bigger (hu)man by not being bothered by it. As a matter of fact it's a gift -- you chose to give it hence maybe you shouldn't even be looking for credit for your good deed, though I admit gratitude would be the most appropriate.
