Hope brains and a pretty face helps.........and how about a great personality....wonder how may great people are passed over as dates or partners because of their outside appearance........I've been a skinny chick and an overweight chick and have felt both sides of it.........there is a definite difference and I'm the same person....just in two different bodies....thanks for any input

Different strokes for different folks (no pun intended). Some guys would actually prefer a larger woman, while some men like them stick thin. There are those that like them athlete and some would much rather have someone dainty.

I do agree that there is an overall difference in the way people treat those that are different than themselves. It's sad, but unfortunately true and it occurs in all sorts of different ways wiether it be due to appearance, class, religion or this or that.

But for anyone who is feeling down about things like these, just keep your head up high and know that there is always someone out there for you, someone who will love you just as you are. It's all just a matter of meeting the right person. And never let any outside opinion of you be that which determines your own self worth. Everyone carries their own beauty, and it is when you can see your own that it really shines out for all to see.

Edit: And just for the record some girls prefer the brainy. I like my man all smart and smexy. RaWr!~

When I weighed 220lbs all the guys ignored me. My hair was pulled in school and I was picked on constantly. I lost 60lbs and the boys flocked all over me. I was getting hit on left and right. You definatley do get a different reaction depending on what weight you are. This kind of thing makes me upset because I was the same person 60lbs ago than I am now. That is all that should matter, but that isn't the way it is. Very sad.

I have been skinny and big... Either way - my man lloves me. I tell him now that I plan to lose the weight and he feels that I shouldn't. He adores every inch and ALL of me... I believe that it all really depends on the person. He feels that a girl who is extra skinny does not look healthy and something may be wrong with them. I am from the south where its good to have the extra in all the right places, whereas living in this west coast now, they feel its important to portray a healthy person as extra thin... So look, Christina Richie I am not... and wouldn't want to be - I like looking and feeling healthy with my curves in all the right places... I have a fabulous personality and I think I am really pretty - as well as ultra sexy... just ask my man...

Well here is the deal, you pick someone because you are attracted to them. Yeah maybe they are funny but if they are ugly then they are friend material. You want friends to have a good time with, but you want a GF who you are attracted to and she has to be pretty and healthy. Attraction is one of the most important parts of a relationship and is imparitive in one is going to be kept from loosing intrest.

Ok I had to add more. I hate when girls say shallow and stupid. It is built in to mens curcuitry to be attracted to sexy women not ogly unhealthy ones. It was implmented for survivall of the species. Girls have this too, for they look for alpha males to ensure the survival of thier offspring. Thats why girls dont go with nerds. You want to call guys shallow, why dont girls like the NERDs they are sweet and willl treat women like queens, but no lets go with the jerk right? BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After reading your comments i must add one more thing. Skinny is not good, some meat is good, but when you go beyond that, I mean come on what can you expect, If you are 200 lbs what do you expect? How can you judge a guy who doesnt like a 200 lbs woman and then she looses wieght and he likes her? Dont you see the logic there. And its fine for a guy to do that. Girls need to start respecting themselves and stay in shape.

guys find a pretty face and great personality very sexy. We also find self confidence and desire in us sexy. Women are what we live for and if we dont put them up on a pedestal from the moment we fall in love with them (and vice versa) then we deserve getting cheated on.

I lost 110 lbs. and my husband was afraid I'd get too skinny! I did for a while, but regained about 15 lbs. and he loves that it's made my hips and breasts fuller. I don't think men like skinny women. They like a little meat with their potatoes; some like the whole steak! Godloveya!

i knew a girl that had a "1-900 number voice." but she was 180 and ugly, but gave great head.
there was another that had a deeper voice than I did but she was a 6'2 amazon diva.....

you just have to find something in the middle.... and not that extreme
