Partially, yes.
People of different faiths have no business dating each other because of the strain it can cause. (not always)
Spiritual divorce can take place before psychological or legal divorce. If two "married" people are not truly one flesh, (one body, one mind, and one heart), they are not really married. It can happen that a couple believe they have what it takes to be married when they start out, but then find out that one or both do not have the capability to carry out the vows they have made, then they are not truly married, and should seek a legal divorce after all avenues of healing and reconciliation have been exhausted.
Most mixed marriages fail in divorce (95%), but they don't have to.
There is help out there.

no... religious beliefs should not be pointed out as a basis for such. one, failed marriage are often cause by communication impairment, the lack of trust and the irresponsibility of both individual to carry the relationship across numerous trials and challenges. both should help each other and rely with each to live every part of the marriage. most often than not, marriages has a phase of slowing down, and if you don't add spice to it, by ignoring each other's responsibility, then a marriage would be doom. differences of faith doesn't count, it's how the couples ride the waves that matters....

Marriage has not failed. Happily married for 25 years next week. We don't see eye to eye on alot of things, but we have some really good discussions. No screaming or yelling or trying to convert one another. Bottom line, we both believe and love.

i've got faith marriage ought to circulate bleak with time. Of which, couples themselves are clueless on their stricken marriage, thinking no longer something is incorrect. or basically concept their issues are not that great. And worst while one are in denial, thinking that they are the perfect companion and by no skill at fault. unhappy emotions can take years to submerge. And as time is going with the help of, they grew aside and their emotions for an extra starts to vanish. So i think of "blame" does not be the astonishing be conscious to apply. And regrettably, there is by no skill a assure a marriage will final while finding out on a companion. we are in a position to purely plan and pray it rather is going to paintings the way we want it to be. Marriage itself is "threat". wish this could help ;)

How do you know my marriage failed? My wife and I are no longer together but I blame that on her death.
As someone who has lost his wife, I believe that your family is much more important than religious belief. Would you let an unproven rumour ruin your marriage?

Besides truly getting to know someone BEFORE you marry them, religious differences can have a great impact on whether your marriage will last or not.

yes, because my former wife had different ideas about the whole thing.
I believe that religious, philosophical and spiritual agreement is crucial in a marriage.

If by chance you do blame your spouse, Im not sure why it would be surprising as in the bible jesus stated something to the effect of : I come to split father from son, mother from daughter, brother from brother....etc... Aahhh christianity...so harmonious
and loving.

No, I blame it on the fact that my ex wife can't seem to get along with anyone. When she chased off her last friend it was my turn because she didn't have anymore friends to chase off.
