Read labels. Always! Thats the best way. Also buy no salt veggies, they have less sugar too. Fresh fruit is also better than canned. Just eat heathy and youll do great.

Look dear,You can easily do without sugar & have the same swaty taste of your foods through use of
1-Nutritive sweeteners:Include fructose, sorbitol, mannitol & xylitol. They are all carbohydrates & give 4kcal/gm.On metabolism they are more sweeter than sucose,so less amounts are needed to give the same taste.
2-Non nutritive sweeteners:saccharin & aspartame are commonly used in diet soft drinks & other diet products. They are many times sweeter than sucrose & don't contribute to the caloric content of food.
And to lower elevated serum lipids the following dietary recommendations should be followed:
Restrict saturated fats to below 10%
2-use a calorie controlled diet with incresed content of complex carbohydrate rather than concentrated sweets & simple sugars.
3-Increase dietary fibers ,specially soluble dietary fibers[oats ,legumes & pectins]
4-Few animal protein & excess plant protein .
5-The diet should provide vity c & chromium in adequate amounts.
6-Sodium restriction if you r hypertensive .
I hope I could help.

You can get whole wheat sugar free breads, lots of veggies except starchy ones (carrots, peas, potatos, corn) Low fat dairy products, lean meats. Watch your fruits, tropical fruits are the highest in sugar.

The immediate way would be to stop having soft drinks and fried food. Cookies and sweets should also be avoided. Cakes as well.

dont eat carbs or fat, simple but then again, it leaves you with lean meats, low fat dairy, and artifically sweetened things, and no starches. i do it, so you can, eat green and yellow veggies, baked chicken or fish, raw fruits but not too many, and cottage cheese, yogurt and low fat milk. the yogurt must be low fat and artifically sweetened, and the cottage cheese low fat. use spray on i cant believe its butter. eat lots of salads with low fat and low carb dressings. good luck.

Splenda!!!!! It is expensive but it works great. But keep in mind that your body will turn carbs into sugar, so keep the carbs low too.
