DON'T DO anything to it now. Next time your at the Dentist, ask for a pornographic x ray, it is an x ray that shows your whole jaw. You could be one of the few people who does not have a permanent tooth under it . If so then you need to keep the baby tooth as long as possible. It is keeping your other teeth in place.Teeth will lean or drift if they do not have anything next to it to keep them in place
Update: Sorry about the the spelling mistake, it is a pangraphy x ray. The spell check on my computer must be a male .As far as emmalue goes, thank you so mush for pointing it out in such a mature way. It must be nice never to make a mistake. The last prefect person I knew of was Jesus

It is uncommon but not rare. Retained baby teeth are likely in cases where the permanent tooth never formed under the primary one, therefore, nothing to push the baby tooth out. Now if you are talking all the baby teeth still present, then I would say RARE! Best to visit a Dentist.

Nothing unusual. However, visit your dentist to ensure that this baby tooth does not become pain in the neck for other teeth when fully erupted. Enjoy the baby smile!

You can still have one or more baby teeth as an adult.
My daughter has one of her baby teeth. It was never replaced by the permanent tooth.
You can also have baby teeth below the gum line which would be revealed by xray.

I was a Dental Assts for 10 years, and a CDA for 4 years"
OMG! A "pornographic" x-ray will show way more than your whole jaw.
You lasted 4 years???

Sure. I see this quite commonly. A tooth or two; not a whole mouth full.
