I had my mom write out a prayer that she says everyday to me before I leave the house. I want to get it tattooed on me. The thing is, she isn't that great at the grammer or spelling. I was wondering if someone can see if the pray is written correctly.

The right spelling is this:
"Que el Padre, el Hijo y el Espiritu Santo te defiendan de todo mal, amen."
mal = danger - evil
peligro = danger so I only wrote one of them
Espiritu Santo = Holy Spirit must be together, in the original one "Santo" is missing, but I believe you must include it, so I did it.
defiendan, the original one reads "defienda" without the 'n', but since its plural it must contain the 'n' ( defiendan ).

But DONT GET THE TATOO!! You will be blemishing God's work, your body, forever.

This is poor Spanish. I'm not a native Spanish speaker so I can't be 100% sure of the right way to say this, but I know this is bad and you shouldn't definitely not get a tattoo of this. Ask a native, otherwise you can't be sure.

That looks correct, but it isn't ...you should go to the online Spanish dictionario.
Father, free your son, protect the spirit, defend from all bad danger. (I think it could be said better) libre is not a verb. (Libera)
Espiritu is also alma

Google.com has a language translator. If you know it in English, it will translate and give you proper spelling and them you can double check with us again. And there is a Answer for Mexico, too. Maybe someone there can help!

That doesn't sound right to me. Something is wrong with the grammar but I can't tell you exactly what. It's missing some punctuation for sure.
Maybe go to a Catholic church and ask.
