Now that they have Brandon Roy how far will he take Portland if anywhere at all? When will the Blazers be back in the playoffs?

Yes Adam Morrison is better than Aldridge but maybe that would have altered it all and they wouldnt have gotten Brandon Roy who is going to be a lot bigger help the Morrison could ever be. Actually Adam Morrison is good just not as good as everyone thinks.

Errr... not good at all. Bottom 3 teams in the league? Brandon Roy may eventaully be an answer, but that's a while off, and he is not THE answer. The team is a shambles. Too many speculations on young tallent has killed them, and until they drop some of the dead wood they are stuck. Case in point - Zach Randolph is their franchise player. Ouch. On the plus side - They'll get a solid shot at Greg Oden in the next draft. Players will flock to play with him. Right now, there is NOTHING that makes a player want to be in Portland. They need to start again, from scratch, and this time only take on hard working, proven, young players. And Nate McMillin needs to become even tougher on them. That's how the Bulls finally turned it around after being in a similar mess. That's what Charlotte is doing now.

There is no way in hell that they will make the playoffs this season.

However, I am looking forward to watching the play of Roy, Webster, and Aldridge. The Blazers are finally moving in the right direction, and Nate McMillan is one of the best coaches in the NBA. They will definitely show improvement, but they are a very young team, and Blazers fans need to be both patient, and supportive. I can see them winning about 35 games this coming season (the western conference is loaded with good basketball teams).

Not this year. The Blazers would be hard pressed to enter the playoffs this season. They still do not have enough good guys. Maybe two years from now or maye if Zach goes somewhere else.

They would have done a lot better if they would of picked Morrison instead of Aldridge.

Not very good...They won't make the playoffs. No center. Randolph is a slacker, dead weight, the Blazers will always be in that mode until they move him.

I think a nice wool blazer in a dark color, slightly tapered, will do okay but not overwhelmingly. ;-)
