A friend's cousin got her a Silver Quill engraved with their names for them to sign on their Wedding Day, I remember her saying that she would start a family tradition and since then every family member has signed with the quill and had their names engraved...
Another thing you can give them is a Picture Frame with a Picture of the two of them when they started dating and one of when he proposed or some other memorable celebration for the two of them.

make a scrapbook of pics of the two of them growing up from thier baby pics to the wedding pic then they will have a keepsake for sharing with their children,then give them a camera and a empty scrapbook all kids like to look at them to see who they look like and its a great memory for them
put in pics of their parents grand parents and great grands too !
