User lip balm - like Vaseline Petroleum Jelly, or Nivea. The more greasy the better, apply it all day long, and at night as well. And instead of picking at it with your fingers, user your toothbrush and gently scrub your lips.
You have to be religious about it if you want to end up with soft lips.

Don't touch or scratch your healing lips. If it's still not
healing well, go see a doctor and he'll give some fast
healing cream which maybe antiseptic type and apply on it
to heal.

Time will heal it. Just leave it alone. You have developed a very bad habit of biting your lip and it will get worse if you don't leave it alone. Give it two or three wekks, if it doesn't get better, see a doctor.

Put some healing balm on it, but whatever you do, stay far far away from Vaseline, Carmex and Blistex. They will make it worse.
