Yikes! That sounds painful. It could be a cracked tooth, but your best bet is to have your dentist have a look. When did it start? Have you been stressed out and grinding your teeth lately?

If it's a cracked tooth, one possible remedy is a crown. That usually takes a couple of trips, but it isn't too bad.

Thank goodness it is Sunday night and you will only have to wait 9 or 10 hours before calling a dentist on Monday morning. You might hav a small fracture of part of your tooth, but someone will have to actually look at your tooth to tell you what's going on.

Gently floss the area.there is a food caught in there. The gams have nerves too. When there is something that is not suppose to be there,it irritates the gams. After flossing, your gams will bleed. It is normal.Just rinse with warm salt water.Next day it'll be gone.

It could be a crack in the tooth. They can seal it with a little bit of that white stuff in about 5 minutes.
