Yes all mammals do, the belly button is wear the ambilical cord was attaches from which they recieved nutrients while in the mothers womb....though unlike ours you really cant see them once the cord falls off & the scar heals. On a very new puppy you may be able to find the scar but on most adult dogs in mearly looks like a small indentation on the stomach & usually is covered & hidden by fur

Yes, if your definition of a bellybutton is a scar that comes from an umbilical cord. They don't look quite like ours but even in adults if you look close enough you will see the scar where the umbilical cord was once attached. However, I don't recall ever seeing an innie or outie on a puppy. If your puppy does look like it has an outie it is probably due to an umbilical hernia and you should have a vet look at it to make sure the puppy is not in any danger.

Sure. Belly buttons are the remnant of where a baby whatever was connected to its mom via an umbilical cord, so any good-sized mammal is a candidate to have one. We just don't think about dogs having them because they're so furry.

Yes.
The belly button is a result of the unbilical cord attatched from the fetus to the mother. All mamals have an umbilical cord and there for a belly button.
Some belly buttons are more prominant than others, varying from animal to animal and species to species.

No, they are in a sac that the umbilical cord is attached to. I've seen the other answers, now I'm not sure. Dogs have multiple puppies, are there several umbilical cords?

Referring to my question about Arab, Islam, and muslims.
I was not being racist. It was a simple question. I would feel uncomfortable in America if I were them.

If you see one it is probably a hernia. These sometimes heal up on their own, other times, they require surgery.
