Well you can love anyone you want. Married or not, children or not. It depends on what the two of you do with that love. So, first think about that. What do you want from him. does he love you. Is he is separating with his wife you guys can date and get married if you wanted once it is finalized.

Not advisable at all. I work in a law office divorcing people. It gets really ugly between the parties and it's worse when it comes to the custody and visitation part. If there's a girlfriend, somehow, they start getting involved in the case. For example, the wife startes taking the husband to court because the girlfriend presumably spanked their children, looked at them funny or was present at the visitation exchange and caused problems or the children simply do not like daddy's new girlfriend. It also is not fair to the children to see their father with a girlfriend so quickly after he's separated from their mother. It could be emotionally and mentally devastating for them. Why would you want to do that to them? And it doesn't get any better either. If you are going to love a man with children, then you will have to accept the fact that YOU are not #1 to him when it comes Birthdays, Christmas, and special holidays. He will make sure that he spends his money first on spectacular gifts for his children while you, my dear, will have to settle for a dinner and a move at home. And guess what? You will find yourself helping pick out those spectacular presents for his kids. Make sure you prepare yourself to struggle financially with this guy too. Why? Well, let's see, there are these things called "child support and spousal support". Yippee!! You will also have to deal with all the crap and problems that his ex-wife (once they're divorced) will cause to make your lives a living hell. And guess what, they (both), will make sure to use the children to help them out on their revenge rage.
And when you get to the part in having his first child from you....gues what...no big deal any more.....HE'S SEEN IT ALL BEFORE (dejavu).
After having said all of the above, if you still plan to stick with this second-hand, used-up, old shoe, then wait until he's been divorced for at least one year. Then you can squeeze your nose, hold your breath, and jump into that pool. GOOD LUCK.

Ah thats a hard question because, I don't know how he feels about you. Its a difficult situation to be in and you have to be a very strong person because its a compicated love triangle. I would say try to be careful with your heart, expect the worst and hope for the best.
Good luck !

Only you can answer that. Be careful though, some people who have filed for divorce get back together. Would your feelings and/or relationship change if he wasn't getting one? If so, tread slowly.
