what are we allowed to take on the planes?

i mean in the luggage not the hand luggage
and i heard smth about that we r not allowed to take any liquids like shampoos and perfumes,is it true?
im traveling from inside america to london

No liquid of any type in carryon luggage. That means no perfume, no eye drops. No anti-itch cream. Nada.
