My 2 year old son put a circle motrin up his nose. As I was trying to get it from him he ran and needless to say sucked it up through his nose more. We used salt water and a surigen to suck most of the motrin out but not sure if he swallowed the rest or if we just can't see it. When we shine the light up there it looks like it is gone? He is now sleeping soundly, and seems to be breathing fine....Should I be worried or is it all gone?

I wouldn't be worried at this point. If he's breathing fine and sleeping fine, then it's probably gone by now. They make motrin for children and if a little bit remained somewhere up there, it's not lethal.

Hopefully your son has learned from his experience and won't try this again.

Call your local poison control center or your local pediatrics hospital. They will tell you the harm that could be caused by this situation.

Don't just leave it to ''see'' what happens. Adult medications abused by a child can be harmful. Thank goodness you got some out.

The other piece you missed in your question is what you are doing to stop this kind of thing happening again. You must keep all poisons and medications out of reach of small children. I have seen children die from drinking the Drano that the mother left behind the sink pipes.

Call and get medical information NOW. Don't waste time on Yahoo.

I would keep him monitored, just to be safe. If you got most of the pill out of his nose, he most likely didn't get much of a dose, probably only an ammount equivalent to baby-motrin. If you have concern, call a poison control center or your doctor immediately.

if you got most of it out I am sure he will be fine did you compare it to the other pills to see about the size difference . If you are worried he did get to much you may wanna call your doc otherwise keep an eye on him check on him from time to time or maybe put a monitor next to him turn it up so you can hear his breathing . Good Luck

Call poison control and find out if the full dosage of the pill is too high for his age, and if he should be brought to the emergency room or notl. If not, you should monitor him tonight, and bring him to the doctor tomorrow to make sure none of the pill is still stuck up there, and that there is not any damage to his nose because of it being there, or when you tried to take it out.
