I have known this chic for about 13 years and we went out for about 5 or 6 year.to make a long story short she really messed me up bad. so we broke up. And i'm wanting to start dating againn, But just can't bend myself to ask eany one out. someone please help?

you are great guy. it's her loss to losing someone great like you. move on and gain back ur confidence. she doesn't know how to appreciate someone like you doesn't mean other girls don't either. i believe there are many nice girls out there who are searching for true love. forget about ur past and start ur own new life. the all new "curt"!

It sounds like maybe you're not as ready as you think to start dating again.It takes time to heal from a long-term relationship that ends badly.My advice would be to forget about dating for now,and just have some fun with some casual friends.Don't push for a relationship until your heart has completely healed and until you can learn to trust again.Otherwise,you're carrying all that extra baggage from one relationship to the next which could cause damaging problems.

I realized after my second marriage the best way to cure the blues caused by loosing a g/f (or wife) was to get two more but only on a temporary basis......doc

Ask yourself if you still love her, and give it time, its ok to still love your ex, just pretend she doesn't exist, right now you're basicly in a game of old school pong, "You can never win, and even if you try you'll still lose" But you can change that in time.

it's ok to feel the way you do. Its a trust issue you have. You have to work on it slowly. If a woman is interested in you let her make the first move.

Welcome to the club, i still have to come out of a 4 year relationship, but im not brave enough to do that. at least you ended it my friend.if u can do that im sure falling in love again should not be a problem

wow, gosh dang thats hard. just start by hanging out with different girls, or taking them out for a friendly dinner or something.
