I was an atheist before I had my near death experience and I'm still an atheist. My mortality has nothing to do with the existence or nonexistence of any deity. Jesus doesn't exist no matter what happens to me, good or bad, life or death.

If you were half dead, then there's probably a good chance that what you saw was a hallucination or vivid dream. If all you saw was a shadow, how can assume that it was anyone in particular. If you weren't hallucinating or dream, the shadow was most likely a doctor, nurse or visitor, since you were in a hospital. As for being instantaneously healed, is that your doctor's opinion or just your own? He/she would probably know better than you. And if Jesus is always ready to help anyone, why didn't he stop you from getting sick in the first place? So many people feel touched by the divine after overcoming adversity. But my question is, when was God the rest of the time?

I was blind to my own sin. Jesus saved me too with a huge miracle. Now I read the bible everyday and grow stronger in my faith because I am so eager to understand how all this works. I am still baffled but I know he exsist. There are some beautiful stories written in the bible to help us understand. The one I like best which applies to both of us is how when 1 sinner repents and turns to God, all the angels in heaven rejoice.
Read the bible from beginning to end. It will answer your question regarding if God is ready to help anyone.

Well isn't that funny that you never mentioned that to me when you were emailing me and trying to find a religion. You thought my religion was wonderful and wanted to join up. LOL> You said you could never be a Christian. Ahhh what two weeks will do to someone.

"he is always ready to help anyone. am i right?"
Apparently not. If he really cared about you, you wouldn't have had any illness in the first place.

So your doctor came in the room and told the nurse to add something to your IV and you started feeling better or just maybe you were trying to wake from the drugs as he came in and left. You felt better over the next little while and when you came fully awake you only thought you seen god. You seen your nurse or the doctor.
Silly ..

I suspect you're leaving important details out of this story for sensationalism.
