I went through this when my parents divorced, except I chose to live with my mom. Just be honest and open. Your parents will love you no matter what. If you live with your dad make sure you still make time for your mom. Maybe you could tell her why it would make you happier living with your dad. This might help make the time you are with her better. Just try to put yourself in your parents shoes when talking with them though, so you don't hurt their feelings too much. Good luck! :)
