Go to your doctor. Twenty is a lot at one time. There are several different causes for canker sores. Check out the link, lots of great info including causes, treatments, etc. But definitely go to the doctor! Good luck...

Colgate's Peroxyl mouth rinse may help
Swish and spit a little Benadryl elixir; it will help numb the pain
Start a program to improve your nutrition. Take a good high potency multivitamin with minerals daily.
Dissolve 1-2 DGL tablets (health food stores have them) in your mouth 4-5 times daily til sores are better.

If you are serious...Gargle with warm salt water, throw out your toothbrush and get two new ones, one for while your mouth is recovering and one for after. 20 is a lot do you have braces, the sores are generally caused by scrapes on the inside of your cheek from aggressive brushing or another foreign object scraping the side of your cheek.

Definately use the salt water it will make a big difference in the amount of pain.

There are alot of stuff you can buy at the local drug store to make them go away. They are normal when growing up. For now you can rinse out with hydrogen peroxide and swab them with a q-tip. Sometimes they form from any mouth injury, like having braces and getting hit in the mouth. no big deal.

Well if you have had oral sex recently, then I would get them checked out. If you want them to go away, put table salt on them and don't rinse it out. The salt will get rid of it within minutes, but it is going to burn like hell, but at least they will go away.

Your body is either fighting an infection or you are having your first outbreak of Herpes. Get to an Emergency Room or your doctor ASAP.
