Don't believe what you hear, read Romans 2:1-3 and Romans 7:19, 20. Here it mentions those who practice sin and that sin is apart of us. Therefore we have to constantly put yourselves into check. Sadly, there are some "wearers of sheep clothing" that will tell you "all you have to do is ask for forgivness" and by the way "pass the collection plate".

If you are a true follower of Jesus, if you have repented of your sins and accepted Christ as your Savior, you will not want to steal, kill, have unlawful sex, etc..."
Well, have you?

The Jesus in the tomb was 100 lbs. of aloes and myrrh wrapped in two pieces of linen.
Jesus on the cross were two thieves who died of asphyxia at the breaking of their legs.
Jesus at the resurrection was a mockery of the resurrection by the Jews who had abandoned the belief of Angels and resurrection, with a one-man resurrection and resurrection with the wounds of the past life.
Will those who die by fire, beyond recognition, resurrect to be walking Barbecue?

Isn't it a little (?) crazy if you have to believe in the Christian god in order to go to heaven - if Christianity is the one true faith. If it's Islam, you have to believe in Allah, to go to Heaven. If Judaism is the one true faith, you have to believe in Javeh. etc.
There are something over 34,000 separate Christan sects - and I have to pick the one true faith ? Even I guess right and it is Christianity, my chances of guessing which of 34,000 is the precise one true faith are about nill.
Once the dogma, window dressing and all that stuff designed to maintain the power of the organised faith is cast aside I see few major differences (although faiths spend most of their time trying to see how they differ from others, which kind of explains why there are over 34,000 different Christian cults). So if there's such a small difference between all the major faiths - and we'll stick with theistic religions for now.
SO just about all major thiestic faiths boil down to
1. There is a god or gods some sort of supernaturial entity, that created everything - yes that includes you.
2. BE NICE TO PEOPLE.
2. If you are nice to peopl, you'll go to somewhere nice when you die, otherwise you'll go somewhere bad.
So, I think I'll just try to be NICE to everyone, and take my chances with the hereafter.

Uhhhhhhhh, no you can't. If you were a real Christian, you wouldn't touch that stuff. Why can't you try to make the world better instead of worse. You get so much more for making it better. We don't need another sinful drunkard. Be a good guy.

Yes very true, enjoy! As long as you don't do anything immoral that you will seriously regret, why let the laws of religion hold you back!?!

Only if you are a christian, if you are a christian you can kill six million jews and go to heaven. But if you are an atheist who lives his life caring for the poor and giving his whole life away selflessly, you go to hell!
It's really absurd, isn't it?

Nope. If you truly accept Christ, you would avoid breaking the law. You don't even need Christ for that, God set up our criminal justice system to deter us from crime.

Nope.
God is not a fool.
Jesus death takes away our sins when we genuinely repent (turn way from our sins).
Cordially,
John
