it is a time for reflection

endless drama clouds your consciousness

too much noise will overwhelm your senses

continual input will obscure your genuine insight

do not substitute sensationalism for learning

allow regular time for silent reflection

turn inward and digest what has happened

let the senses rest and grow still

let go of your superficial mental chatter and obsessions

pay attention to your whole body's reaction to this situation

take the time to reflect

see more clearly what is essential in yourself and your friend

Be Still

speak rarely and briefly about questioning your relationship

follow your inner wisdom

what do you deeply feel?

appearing foolish does not matter

your stillness will overcome your friends agitation

do you not want your friend to trust you

trust your friend

imagine that you are a midwife; you are assisting at someone else's birth

do good without show or fuss

facilitate what is happening between you and your friend rather than what you think ought to be happening

take the lead

lead so your friend is helped

yet still free and in charge

and when your friend finally comes around with the ultimate expression of Love, your friend will rightly say: "We did it ourselves!"

to know yourself takes wisdom

be at peace with yourself

do not fear of losing your long time friend

to manage your own life takes true power

return again and again to an awareness of what is actually happening...so that you might clarify and enlighten not only yourself; but, your friend as well

you will experience harmony ( and devotion )

I will agree with b_friskey.... You do possess the answer yourself. In fact, the "vibe" I get is that your are aware of it too. You are worried about facing it without some objective opinion to back up your own feeling; afraid to trust yourself.

Seek within and follow your own feelings in this matter. I won't promise it will be an easy path, but, if you're true to yourself and to your heart, you'll find the path that is right for you.

Just remember.... Sitting on the fence about any matter is always a precarious and painful place to be. Aside from feeling unsure of which way to go, as long as you sit there you'll always have a fence post up your ***. Good luck.

Yes, you do know how to resolve it, just wait until you are in a relaxed state and ask...It might not be an easy solution, or one that you are willing to do at this time, but you DO know how to resolve the situation.

Show me your palm... ah... a problem with no solution is not a problem... don't worry too much... things aren't permanent... your situation will change...
Edit: I see, ever tried asking him what he wants with his life and what is he planning to do? You don't have to ask him to marry you directly. Just say you want to know how he feels and see if both of you can go the same way.
