You take the anivenom... God made scientist and doctors smart enough to invent such a cure...

Every case of envenomation has to be evaluated on its potential danger. Countless people are bitten by venous snakes but recieve no venom or a trivial amount and people believe that through the intervention of God, they were saved. Many venomous snakes are incapable of envenomating people or the toxicity is very low. However there are other problems rather than the simple life-death situation. Necrotizing constituents are found in many venoms (including the Asian cobras...African cobras are strongly neurotoxic) and the death of tissue takes place and leaves gaping defects in the skin and muscles, and while God may allow you to live, the aftereffects might be horrifying. So which would be better, antivenine or the risk of becoming a cripple?

Opt for the antivenin if it's available, which won't be the case everywhere. (There's a wonderful scene in Donna Tartt's novel "The Little Friend" in which an elderly lady gets bitten by a cobra. She has to tough it out because the hospital in her small Louisiana town doesn't keep cobra antivenin on hand. She survives. However, that's fiction.)

Take the antivenom. If God wants you to live, he may have provided you a way of getting antivenom.....Do whats best for you- God may intervene, but He still wants you to do whats best for you

God gave inspiration to the person that invented the antivenom. So, either way I choose God :)

take antivenom and leave the result to God. sometimes antivenom may not work also as well ...

Given that God made Doctors and people who study venoms to create antivenin then I think I will take the medicine!!!

Its called antivenin.
Didn't God give the inventor of this the intelligence to discover how it worked?
I'd go for the antivenin.
