Mine would be Giuseppe Cipriani's 1991-1993 Formula 3000 team, Il Barone Rampante.
Favourite name for a driver has to be Pierre Henri Raphanel. He was born in Algeria, but moved to France when he was a kid and wasn't too successful in Formula One. Someone called Pierre Henri Raphanel just has to be a racing driver.

C'mon, so far all I've seen are run-of-the-mill names; let's see something creative and, perhaps unusual.
Don't just tell me your favourite team or driver, rather I'm looking for a really good name for a team and driver.

I'm losing faith; still nothing creative except, maybe Dick Trickle. :-)
How about Ecurie Ecosse, that's a great name for a team and Gerino Gerini for a driver; a name like that just says racing driver!

Present... Definitely Fernando Alonso and Renault.
Past... Either Ayrton Senna at McLaren or Niki Lauda at Ferrari making an amazing comeback after a near-fatal accident at the Nurburgring in 1976.
p.s. Ferrari was still an honest team back then, not like now.
