its been said that anything can be considered cheating. before you do anything.. think "would i do this if my bf/gf/wife/husband were here with me?" for example would you act the same around someone if your significant other were there or knew about it?

I dont know if it can ever be considered cheating until you actually meet with someone and physically commit the act.

But I guess it depends on the individuals opinions, Im not the jealous type so it would take alot more than the computer to be considered cheating to me.

That totally depends on the people involved. It's a good idea to have that discussion ahead of time, so that both people know where the boundaries are. Some people only consider actual sex to be cheating, some people think even looking at dirty pictures is cheating. Know where you stand, find out where your partner stands, and compromise if necessary.

If you're asking this question then you are cheating.

Any time you invest emotionally in another member of the opposite sex besides who you are with, you are cheating. It doesn't matter if it's intense flirting over a computer, or in a bar. It's cheating.

Depends on who you ask. I think it's cheating when it means more than the relationship at hand. That's me though. I know lots of people who think any form of any other relationship (even on the computer) is cheating.

Related to school work? It is cheating if you plagiarize. Meaning if you take information word for word from any source online or in a book and you do not put the words in " quotes" and cite the source (naming the real author). If you take something word for word you are lying to the teacher making them think the work is your own not someone else's work/words. So always cite sources. Look up how to cite sources if you dont know how.

When you start feeling more emotionally connected to the person on the computer than to the person you have in real life, it's cheating.

Probably when you feel the need to ask whether or not it is cheating.

Jesus our Christ said if you think it, you did it. He just said it better than I can, but, there's no room for misinterpretation or guessing or waggling through that one. Cheating is cheating, no matter how or where you do it. God Bless you.
