That was mean to throw stuff in his face. However that man should not have followed you to your car. If you felt threatened by him following you then I dont think you went too far by throwing liquid in his face. From now on just tell bums that you dont have any money on you (cause they may end up holding you up if they get pissed at you saying "no" to them asking for money) and walk away fast and do not get into any physical altercations with them. Technically what you did is assault and he could have had you charged if a police officer was around or someone called the police. So be careful. Protect yourself and wife by just getting away from a sketchy person as fast as possible so you dont end up in a situation where you go to jail or get sued and have to pay the man money in the end.

This question is wrong. First, despit what a person's social status is, no one, deserves to be treated like that. Not all homeless people started out as jobless bums, and you don't know why he was homeless. I know it must have been startling when he came up to you, but you could have just wind up your window and drive away. Seriously, just because you got money, doesn't give you the right to act like that, sheesh, i thought people had more integrity than you.
You know what, as soon as i graduate law school, i'm gonna find that bum and take you to court.
BTW 2 points, 346 more to lv 3!

No, I do not think you were right
.
Addition: Wow. In your last question you were at the bus stop and now you are driving a lexus. Someone took your asthma medicine, and your shoes and then you went to school. (don't remember all of your details) Quite a contrast in the picture here. This is not reality. All fantasy

Consider the fact that it could've been YOU getting the rude refusal. So, no, you were terribly inconsiderate, not right. Karma goes around and comes around. Offering to buy him a meal or something similar, would have been a much nicer gesture. Or just saying "no" and leaving it at that.

That was a tacky thing to do if it was California champagne.
From a Lexus, only French champagne should be tossed.
