I think Jane Fonda was very brave during Vietnam. The only problem was that she spent a lot of her energies blaming the troops. There are however a few people still today that say her anger was correctly placed. However most people say that the troops are only doing their jobs and what the CEO of the US, i.e. the President tells them to do so critizing them was wrong, and it would have been more accurate to come down on the president(s) and the politicians that voted to go to war. She has been apologizing for 30 years for her oversight. I understand what went wrong and I forgive her however being accused of such a serious faux pas I understand why she would never want to say anything about a war/military issue EVER again in her life.

Obviously people dont know all that happened with Jane Fonda. Like the fact they visited a prison camp in Vietnam full of American POWs and when an american troop slipped her a note for her to pass to US officals so they would be able to notify the families they were still alive she took it upon herself to hand the note over to the guards basically saying that we werent playing the war game right....
She is a disgrace to the US. She used the war as a way to constintly put her face in the news.

I could go on for pages and pages about her treasonous or at least seditious activities during the Vietnam War. If anything she cost many, many lives with her activities bolstering the morale of the NVA. I'm sure she cost the lives of many POWs following her visits to NVA POW camps. Ask a Vietnam Vet what he thinks of Hanoi Jane and why.

She not only went behind Enemy Lines, she committed high treason and a host of other illegal actions. She was never, arrested, never charged, she just walked away while American and allied serving military personnel continued being sacrificed in a totally negative war aided and abetted by America's senior military command (same as in Iraq). I'm not aware shes even apologised for here actions - or at any time even contributed any part of her mass fortune to the Vietnam's Veteran Associated by way of recompense for her treasonable activities! Who the hell wants her even remotely involved in the current Iraqi disaster

There's a famous photograph of Jane Fonda sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun, helmet on her head, smiling from ear to ear, surrounded by NVA troops.
It says everything you need to know about the worthless traitor.

Erudite; Your perception of (Hanoi) Jane Fonda lead me to believe that you may under the spell of one of our many liberal college professors. Do you also believe that the Holocaust never happened, and that the Moon landing was shot in a sound stage in Burbank?

No way. She turned her backside to all of us Vietnam Vets. She has NEVER apologized to us for her actions. Freedom of Speech is fine, but when you put words into action, as she did going to North Vietnam, I don't and will not knowingly support her by seeing her films, books or alike.
