Dear Sister in Christ, I want to encourage you to continue praying for your husband. I know it is discouraging, but remember to be the wife who wins her husband over by silent action.
If you have not had a chance to check out these books, try "The Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie O"Martian, and "beloved unbeliever" is another good book.
I recently received a powerful e-mail from a friend, and I'd like to share this message with you. Please hang in there, God knows your heart. Even though he cannot force your husband to change his mind, he can bring about the circumstances to get your husband to listen.
The SIX Times The Devil Is Most Likely To Attack
=================================================
1. When you are physically tired.
2. Whenever you face a major decision regarding your assignment in life.
3. Whenever you are birthing a child that is destined to become
a spiritual leader.
4. When a specific miracle is on its way to you.
5. When you make an effort to launch a new ministry for God.
6. When you are next in line for a promotion from God.

Try to talk to your husband gradually. Sometimes people need time to figure it out for themselves. Just act the way God wants you to, and he'll start seeing something different in you. Other people will notice it too. When they do, and they ask you why your like that, let it be an oppurtunity to share God's love. Don't give up on your husband, but don't try to push him too far, so he's resentful about it. Don't do sinful things, like lying, etc, because that shows him that Christianity is controversial. Just try to share God's Promise and salvation, and pray every day that you'll get an oppurtunity to help him to accept God. Just continue to raise your children in the Lord, and hopefully your husband will realize God loves him and he'll become a Christian. You'll be in my prayers!

I recommend reading the entire chapter via link below; however, I have pasted the pertinent verses below.
I too am a growing Christian and I have tonnes of questions. Recently it's about my eternal life. I ask myself "the path is narrow and few will find it; will it be wide enough for me?"...
My advice... stay married and don't let your doubts and fears (False Evidence Appearing Real) get the better of you.
Continue to ask God to help guide you throughout your day and help you see/hear what it is you are needed to do. Maybe hubby's time isn't ready yet; maybe he'll never be.
I think you need to ask yourself the important questions; is hubby good to you? your kids? does he have the family's best interests and put them first above selfishness? if you have a daughter would you want her to marry a man like him?
Life's always going to be difficult... don't get distracted by temptations and quick thinking; trust in God more than yourself; we as humans fool too easily.
Good luck and God bless...

I am sending you my prayer as I am typing u my answer.
Yes, I know a friend who has similar experience that u have. We never stop praying. Prayer is really powerful. It could move mountains. Just give it time. God is not sleeping. HE sees every little thing that is happening.
Be strong and believe that God will not abandon you. The song,YAHWEH THE FAITHFUL ONE is a proof that GOD is always there for us. GOD will not give this TRIAL or CHALLENGE in life to you if you can't bear it. Have Faith.
If you pray, first PRAISE our Lord, then THANK HIM for all the blessings and trials in your life, then ask FORGIVENESS for the times you failed HIM and when you gave in to sins, then ask for HELP. Mention all your concerns about life to HIM. And if GOD did one of your requests, don't forget to thank HIM right away.
God bless you and your family and friends. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

My husband & I have been married 8 years & have 4 children. We have different spiritual beliefs, there was even a period when he didn't believe in anything. I respected him & gave him his space, prayed to God knowing that when it was my husbands time it would happen. Everyone's path is different & it takes longer for some than others - respect that & keep him in your prayers, it will happen in his own time. :D

Dont worry. God has not some how missed this dilema. He here's your prayers and will do his will in his time. Have you asked him to except Christ for your comfort and peace of mind? Since he's not willing to do for his own? maybe his love for you will make him do it. Satan is indeed powerfull. Thats a Fact , But GOD is more powerfull. remember the scripture,,the road to heaven is narrow, meaning not every one is going although every one is invited. continue to talk to your husband as a Wife and not a preacher or a sunday school teacher. I will pray for both of you GOD BLESS BOTH OF YOU.

Linda - Continue to serve Christ and your brothers and sisters, but also serve you husband. Be an example to all around you of the love of Christ and keep the Spirit in your home. Be an example for your children. In time your husband will come around.

the devil is trying to frustrate you to the point that you give up and forsake your blessing. you have to stand on the word of God and believe what it says . also you need a word from the Lord. You need to seek his face to find a word from his mouth, and that word is going to strengthen you and give you the help that you need to endure and overcome the warfare that is going on, also you must be willing to separate yourself from all that you know that is not his will that the devil will not have a stronghold in your life. you need a word from the Lord not from yahoo

I am sending prayer and healing thoughts to you and yours. People, in general, have been having the type of feelings that you mention (especially since events of 9?11). We just have to remember that God is in control and to pray without ceasing because the devil is truly busy.
