heat and meditation

Wet a hand towel, wring it out so that it is not soaking wet and roll it into a tube shape. Place it in your microwave on a microwave safe plate and warm it up in 30 second intervals until it feels quite warm to the touch. Place the warmed rolled up towel on your neck and the moist heat will help loosen the crick. If you can take any painkillers such as aspirin or Aleve or Advil this can help also, but will not work as quickly. Good luck, I'm sure most of us have done this from time to time.

Ice it first for up to 72 hours. The cold will take the pain away. Then, apply a heating pad. Meditation is good. If you can, aspirin or Tylenol will assist too or any other OTC analgesic.
