In the liner notes for "OK Computer", there is a picture of the Christus statue found in the North Visitor's Center on Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Why?

That is where Thom Yorke wrote the songs Paranoid Android, Exit Song (for a film), and No Surprises. Radiohead was playing small venues early in 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and elsewhere in the Bible Belt, and made a practice of group prayer sessions to help generate positive energy to help through their sets. Thom is reported to have felt "very centered" meditating at the Christus status and he returned to Temple Square repeatedly in order to refocus and to rejuvenate himself. This led to some momentous songwriting sessions and the famed songwriter was compelled to include the image of the Mormon statue in the liner notes of OK Computer which is where he included those songs.

Hmm...no idea. I've been to Temple Square but I don't know if Radiohead is LDS. Are they?
