Yes, we can all agree to disagree. That is our right. we have a right to do that. The question is HOW CAN YOU DISAGREE WITHOUT BEING DISAGREEABLE?

Yes after everyone has felt heard and respected. Without that the "Agree to Disagree" stance sounds like an attempt to silence those with a differing point of view. As long as all parties feel heard then to "Agree to Disagree" works beautifully.

I'd be perfectly happy to have Ten Commandments displays outside public Courthouses as long as they included a plaque that read (in the same size type): "This display is not meant to imply an endorsement of religious beliefs. The United States of America has a long Christian heritage, but the basis of law in the U.S. is the consent of the governed, not any 'god' or religious belief system. American freedom of religion implies separation of church and state".

Do you think that Roy Moore's followers would accept that?
If they wouldn't, then no, I can't "agree to disagree", because they would have demonstrated their intention to destroy the United States. I'm betting that not one in 100 of his followers would stand by the U.S. in this situation.

I'd be very happy to be proven wrong about this.

in a perfect world we would. Too bad there are those who think they are always right and better. Life is sooo much easier when we do agree to disagree. That is compromising and all involved feel better about themselves as well as others

This question can have two sides...We can agree to be civilised and not shred each other to pieces, whenever we disagree, that kind of aggeement is ok by me!
But if we agree to dissagree...Know what I mean?

I always try to agree to disagree. Not everyone accepts Salvation through Jesus. But they have the same free will that I do.

Yes I think that would be good as long as we realize we do not have to be disagreeable about it.
