Okay, sometimes when I am out with my friends my girlfriend will interfere and interrupt our conversations. Not only this, but she can bring up some really stupid topics that I don't care to talk about. I have been thinking about what to do and a friend suggested maintenance spankings in where you spank your girlfriend before you go out to establish the fact that the man is in charge and when she goes out her butt will be sore and she will be reminded to know her place and not act out of line. To me its kind of like punishing your girlfriend before she does something so I'm kind of iffy on the whole thing. Is this a good idea?

Maybe your gf's 'interfering' is just her way of trying to merge herself in with your friends? And perhaps what you find to be 'stupid topics' she finds interesting?
Now let me ask you this. If it's ok to maintenance spank your girlfriend, then would it be ok for her to maintenance spank you? Do you think it would be approprate to hurt you just to get you to act the way she would like? Maybe she would rather you be fitter, nicer, funnier, witter, ect...? Heck, maybe she should withhold sex as a form of punishment? Do any of the things I listed above sound reasonable to you? Because if you wouldn't like them done to you, then you shouldn't be doing them to others.
And I for one, am sick and tired of all this "females need to be in check and listen to their husbands/boyfriends/whatever." junk. This is the 21st century. Grow up. You're friend sounds like a pig, and considering the fact that you had to even ask about this, I'm under the assumption you have some pig in you as well.
Spanking your gf to keep her in check? Pfft. How can you say you love her or care for her when you're contemplaiting causing her pain just because you can? Is that what love is? Bruises and higherarchy? How would you feel if a man did this to your mother? To your daughter? Would their pain be okay in your eyes?
Either dump the girl or dump the friend. Either way its a bad combonation to keep them both. And keep in mind that what comes around goes around.

we're in this place called America where we make our own choices and have the freedom of speech. just because you don't like her topics of conversations gives you no reason to beat her. I hope she has family and friends that will step in and land your sorry butt in jail and if you really feel like that about her then breakup until you're old enough to ask intelligent questions and make responsible decisions.
if we lived in the kind of place where that was ok, I would suggest someone spank YOU for your stupidity, chauvenism, and naiveness

First of all tell your friend NOTHING , other than to mind his own biz , sounds like if he minded his own he'd be busy all the time , and for the spanking , SHE'S NOT A CHILD, I'm sure she already has a dad , grow the hell up..and Emily you are right with your info , however he was not speaking sexually, he's referring to discipline, a whole diff matter

That is pittiful...loose the "friend", and his pathetic way of thinking... how about routine kindness and loving her for what she is. Man is not over woman or vise versa! If you are not both equal towards each other, it WILL NOT work! First Corinthians 13 in the Bible tells you what love is...I reccomend reading it.

I think we ought to find how who you are and report you to the authorities. Myself, I work with the FBI, have for years. You sound like a nut case in the truest sense of the word. As to how you treat your girlfriend, you treat her like YOU would want to be treated.
