North Korea can't be attacked at all until the job is done in Iraq. We have far too many resources tied up in that conflict. North Korea would be more difficult to invade and impossible to occupy if the U.S. went it alone. The North Korean leadership is clever. They continually test the worlds resolve with their weapons production and they are doing this to learn how far they can go before the world responds. To defeat and change the country of North Korea would have to be a global effort.

We should. The President talks about "IRAQ" and it's nuclear weapons, but Iraq had none. He decided to invade Iraq by lying to the American public. North Korea in the other hand...threatens it's neighbor's and the U.S. They threaten the stability of the region. Bush...does nothing...and the government decides not to do anything. We should attack first...a ground, air and sea invasion could be possible. Take out the threat that North Korea pose.

no. if you do that, you might piss off china.

And dont forget iraq and afghanistan. Once US military is preoccupied with north korea, iran might start to move.

Iran will mobilize militias in iraq and afghanistan. Militias in iraq and afghanistan can be the cannon fodder... while they unleash their air support and long range missiles.

And oh... North Korea CAN fight. North Korea is much much stronger than Iran. If Iran can hit israel or some parts of Europe, North Korea can hit Alaska. Or maybe they already have a missile to hit washington.

I just hope none of North Korea's missiles end up in Canada. :(

The prickly problem of North Korea probably having nukes could get in the way, which was NOT the case with Iraq, as you know.

Why U want to attack North Korea. They never invaded any country not like U. If you want to attack them because they want to develop the nuclear weapons, then why U did not attack India, Pakistan, Israel, France, UK, Russia, China, who clearly have that weapons.

oh yeah, that would be just dandy. and with whose army are you going to use? they have a million man standing army. their AF and navy are not much though. any provocation and that insane idiot of a leader that looks and acts like the north end of a south-bound mule would send his army across the dmz and nothing short of a massive nuclear retaliation would stop it.

the chinese are the only ones with the ground power to do anything and they aren't about to provoke kim jong (mentally)il.

hope this helps.

I think China should step in. N. Korea is a mess and increasingly isolated -- they're nuts.
