I miss him - he was a riot! King of the oneliners. Many dont know he originated the second opinon joke (My psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I want a second opinion. He said okay, you're ugly too). Some of my favorites:
* When I was a kid my parents moved a lot, but I always found them.
*When I played in the sandbox, the cat kept covering me up.
*My wife and I were happy for twenty years. Then we met!
*My wife wants sex in the back of the car and she wants me to drive.
*My wife met me at the door the other night in a sexy negligee. Unfortunately, she was just coming home.
Respect - yes, from his fans and other comedians. He was an original and deserved all his success!

I reckon the feller was pretty good, he had a tough life , his own momma wouldn't even breast feed him , said she only liked him as a friend . Alright then umm hmm

I think he got a lot of respect, or he wouldn't have been so famous.
