I already did most of the things. More of my goal is encouraging people to do the same thing. There was an article in my school newspaper last week about how people would recycle if they didn't have to suffer the inconvienence of seperating it. Are you kidding me? How unbelievably lazy are you? But the things I do differently is turn off my surge protectors that are hooked up to my computer and tv when I'm not using them. It saves me money on my power bill if nothing else. Don't leave lights on, buy energy efficient lights. Don't drive with a lead foot. I set my cruise control at 55. And yes everyone is passing me, but I'm getting 34 MPG. It seems futile, but if I do nothing how can I complain?

I don't mean to say that we shouldn't be conserving energy, reducing waste, etc! We should always strive to be better then we are.

I just don't believe Al Gore is the messenger everyone thinks he is! To him this is nothing but a political issue, meant to get him exposure for his next run for office! The real test for any politician - is can they themselves make the sacrifice, make the changes to their lives the way they expect us to? Please read the article in the posted link and decide for yourself if Al Gore truely deserves the praise he is given!

No, why would I pay to watch a two hour Al Gore campaign commercial? Besides I have been told most of the so called "facts" in that movie were either false, or exaggerated.

yes i like the movie very much. I've switched all my lightbulbs to energy efficient ones. I try and use less energy, and use less gas. I try to use less gas, and try and carpool when necessary. What I didn't like about that movie was the ending. It didn't do enough to recommend actions to help slow the problem. If you have one, msg me with it..thanks.
