The support for the war is going down. Agree? No WMD, No threat to the USA. Iraq did not do 9-11 So why are we in Iraq? What a waste. How about you young gung ho people here go and join the military and make Mr Bush happy. My real question here is this. How will the people in the USA hold their head up in a proud way when we lose the so called war in Iraq? And you do "know" we will lose. Right?

No we won't lose!!
And its statements like that those murdering bastards pick up on. As long as we have BRAVE men and women fighting for our freedom and the freedom of the Iraqi people we can sleep at night.
Veta a la verga!!

You are disgusting to post such a vile statement on the night
before the anniversary of 9/11. No one supports the war but does support the Military & Iraq's bid for freedom. Whether Saddam was part of 9/11 does not change the more than 300,000
citizens of his country that he slaughtered & the tens of thousands he had raped. We will not lose - we will turn it over to the newly elected Democratic goverment.
Shame on you!

i NEVER thought Iraq was involved in 9/11. Iraq was a completely DIFFERENT threat, with a crazy leader that everyone keeps forgetting REFUSED TO LET WEAPONS INSPECTORS INTO HIS COUNTRY!!! you FREAKING IDIOTS! seriously, how hard is this to understand? I hate the war in Iraq.. iT SUCKS!!! but GET REAL, QUIT BEING BIASED, and face the facts. Sadaam HATED America, and if he could, he would have done the exact thing on 9/11 and I believe he was fully on his way to developing all those weapons.. .and so we didn't find the amount enough for the democrats to approve... Does anyone REMEMBER all those chemical warheads found... all those biological weapons???? OF COURSE NOT CAUSE NO NEWS OUTLET RAN IT FOR MORE THAN SIX HOURS.... Ridiculous partasainship pisses me off. dont give me a low rating just cause you're a liberal pissy democrat. Think aboiut the facts. I'm telling you, i agree, i hate that we are in Iraq... but give us some credit. They are protecting us at home no matter how much you want to spin it

Yes, support for the war is going down. Because of people like you spouting off bullshit and nonsense.

Erudite is nothing more than a propaganda agent for Al-Qaida.

there were WMD's . Some have even been found.
the Invasion of Iraq was NEVER about 9/11 so that argument of yours hold NO water. It was about Saddam failing to comply with UN sanctions.

I do hold my head up proud of being an American. unless I am around other Americans such as yourself (if you are one) then I weep for our country due to the likes of you.
And we are not losing the war in Iraq.
and no I dont "know" that we will.

To truly answer your question, I shall say that basically everyone in the United States knows Iraq was not behind 9-11.

To answer your second question, our troop presence in Iraq is over 100,000 people, and they contain riots and essentially act as hardcore police. Right now, we're trying to figure out a way to pull out of Iraq without having all their inhabitants killed or completely rioting due to lack of order. Just so you know, there just so happens to be a civil war in Iraq right now. In fact, almost all of the middle east is at war with itself or with others. It would be beneficial if we kept troops in the Middle East region so that we might intervene if the time becomes right.

Whether we should have gone to war without Iraq and under what circumstances it happened is subject to debate and cannot be truthfully answered without a biased conservative or liberal explanation, but that is the reason why we aren't out of there. It's not as simple as 'We're going to war with another country, we'll now put all of our troops there. Our war accusations were incorrect, let's take all of our troops out'. It requires lengthy military and diplomatic actions.

Lies, lies, and MORE lies by erudite.. again

There WERE WoMD.... I have shown the links in prior posts, and I will post them again later to have even more proof against this liberal lie....

The war with Iraq was about the violation of the cease-fire agreement... this has beeen stated and proven AGAIN AND AGAIN... there is no person who is a republican or supporting the war that is shouting that Iraq committed 9/11

There are plenty of true patriots who DO join the military... and there are plenty of us here who did our time in other conflicts

I will, and many more will also continue to hold our heads proud with this effort to help Iraq set up their free government... and this war has not, and will not be lost

*Clears throat*

For one I agree the support is at an all time low, but that doesn't mean that Iraq didn't do 9/11. I don't think we should be in Iraq anymore either and I think our troops should of come home a long time ago.

For your comment about us joining the military? Why don't -you- join it since you're so sure that everything is so perfect? There's a big difference between going because you support the war and going because you're forced to. make Bush happy yourself if you're such a big Bush kiss-@$$er

And how can you win a war that doesn't exist by the way? Oh yeah sure Bush is calling it a war, but that doesn't mean it is. We're just walking around wasting resources while the Iraqians blow themselves (and us) to bits. It's like we're fighting nothing, which is what we're doing. How can we lose to nothing? ;)

i like the way the CIA were able to find WMD's that didnt exist in iraq and support saddam to control iraq becasue he was anti communist and didnt do anything about the people being killed way back in the early 1980's and when 9/11 occured they managed to find an excuse to attack iraq with no connection what so ever to 9/11

Go live in France. You would fit right in. Sadaam was guilty of several horrible atrocities and his time was up. If he wasn't guilty of something, why is he on trial? For crimes against innocents, that's why. Also if you had illegal possessions in your house, and you knew the authorities were coming, wouldn't you get rid of them? That is what Sadaam did and he had plenty of time to do it.The U.S. is not losing, ask the majority of the Iraqi people and the soldiers over there fighting. Sadaam once gassed and killed 3,000 Kurds similar to what Hitler did and I for one am glad he is in custody and the majority of the Iraqi people thank us for that. Look it up if you don't believe me. Letting him go would have been like letting Hitler complete the Holocaust.

Just out of curiosity, why did you join? Seems to me a soldier who cared anything about the men he served with or his country wouldn't dishonor them with such statements.

No, Iraq was not directly responsible for the attacks.
However, Saddam did have strong links to Al Queda.
As for WMDs, we've found plenty. Everytime we discover more, the news media is in the habit of reporting it one time and one time only and then completely ignoring it.

We are in Iraq because Saddam did not live up to his ceasefire agreement. He refused to allow inspections, and claimed to have WMD's. Iraq and the world are better off without him and his brutal regime

We will win, unless the cut, run and surrender crowd, (mostly liberals and Democrats) gain control. Evil must be defeated!!!
